Hotel Les Deux Gares x Dorothy Draper

For this project, I was asked to select a commercial space and design a rug and carpet collection for it. Inspired by Luke Edward Hall’s Hotel Les Deux Gares and Dorothy Draper’s bold interpretation of Neoclassical design, the collection features a non repeating plank tile alongside 36 by 36 carpet tiles. Each piece was developed by hand, with motifs painted in acrylic to bring a distinctly personal and tactile quality to the designs.
