I was introduced to the world of textile design through screen printing, which has become one of the greatest influences on my design process throughout my time in school. When I begin sketching motifs and designs, I typically work only in black and white, considering how many screens will be needed to properly translate a digital design onto a product. I also learned how to freehand a repeat pattern.
